Frequently Asked Questions

  • I provide in person sessions in Trappe, PA. I am licensed to work with people in the states of Pennsylvania and North Carolina. If you do not reside in PA or NC, I can direct you to some resources to find a therapist appropriate for your location.

  • Yes! I have an office in the Collegeville/Trappe area for In-Person sessions.

I provide virtual online therapy for those living throughout the PA and NC areas.

  • My session fee is $175 per 50 minute session.

Extended sessions can be provided at a prorated rate.

  • I’m primarily a private-pay practice. Most of my clients prefer this because it gives us the freedom to focus on your real-life needs—not insurance requirements, session limits, or diagnoses. It also keeps your information private and your care personalized.

With that said, I also want therapy to be accessible. I am in-network with Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield and Aetna so that clients who prefer to use their insurance have that option as well.

If you have out-of-network benefits through another plan, I’m happy to provide a superbill for possible reimbursement.

  • Yes. I offer a free consultation so you can get a feel for me, ask questions, and see if my approach matches what you need.
It’s a relaxed, no-commitment way to explore whether this space feels right for you.

  • Most clients begin weekly or biweekly, and then we gradually move to a maintenance rhythm or as-needed support.
Because my practice is intentionally small, all clients have ongoing access to my calendar and can book sessions whenever something comes up.

This gives you both consistency and flexibility — the best of both worlds.

  • Midlife isn’t an age — it’s a season.
For most women, it shows up sometime between the mid 30s and late 50s, when life feels full, the mental load is heavy, and you start asking bigger questions about who you are and what you want next.

  • A good therapeutic fit isn’t about perfection — it’s about connection.
You should feel heard, respected, and supported in a way that feels grounding and meaningful.
If you walk away from sessions feeling clearer, lighter, or understood, we’re likely a strong match.

My style isn’t for everyone (and that’s okay!) So if we discover we’re not the right fit at any point, I’ll help you find someone who is.

  • What makes my approach different is that I don’t just hand you coping skills and send you on your way.
We look at the real-life pressures you’re carrying — the mental load, the expectations, the relationships, the responsibilities — and we build support that actually fits your life.

I’m direct, honest, and down to earth.
I listen deeply, ask thoughtful questions, and help you understand yourself in a way that feels grounding, not overwhelming.

No rushing. No sugarcoating. No judgment.

  • Your first session is really about getting to know each other.
You’ll share what’s been feeling heavy or confusing, and I’ll ask questions to understand what life looks like for you right now. There’s no pressure to dive into everything at once.

We’ll also talk about what you want to get out of therapy — the changes you’re hoping for, the areas you want support in, and what feeling “better” or “more like yourself” would actually look like.

  • That’s more common than you think.
Many of the women I work with have had therapy in the past that didn’t feel helpful or didn’t really get to the heart of what was going on.

My approach is different — it’s honest, collaborative, and grounded in what’s actually happening in your life right now.

My practice is intentionally small, so the work is tailored, thoughtful, and focused on the deeper patterns that are actually affecting you.
If something isn’t working, we adjust — you won’t get a one-size-fits-all approach here.

Therapy feels different when it’s the right fit.
